FedEx 2015 Year-End Holiday Schedule
What you need to know.
- Are we open? Check the operating hours for your area at Find Locations.
- Has weather affected operations? To confirm whether a service area is affected due to weather or other conditions, go to the News area on our home page or call 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339.
- Do you have any 24/7 options? With FedEx SameDay® service, you can ship on Christmas Day or any other day of the year. It's available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for your urgent shipments.
Supply order deliveries (envelopes, boxes, tubes, airbills, etc.) may be delayed for customers and FedEx locations during Thanksgiving week and the three weeks before and during Christmas. If you have an extreme shipping supply emergency during these weeks, please contact your nearest staffed FedEx Express location.1

3On Dec. 31, FedEx Freight will be open with only prearranged pickup and delivery shipments being made. Freight shipments picked up on Dec. 31 will resume normally on Jan. 4, after FedEx Freight reopens following the New Year's Day holiday. For example, one-day shipments picked up on Dec. 31, 2015, will resume on Jan. 4, 2016, and deliver on Jan. 5, 2016, after the weekend.
4All FedEx Office locations will close by 6 p.m. Please contact your local FedEx Office location for information.
5FedEx SmartPost will make normal deliveries, but no pickups.
6Customs clearance at U.S.-Canada land-border crossings is available 24 hours a day, every day via FedEx Trade Networks. Check with your FedEx Trade Networks representative to confirm for U.S.-Mexico land-border crossings.
Note: FedEx Freight charges a redelivery fee when a FedEx Freight delivery attempt is made but is unsuccessful due to a customer closure of which FedEx Freight was not previously notified, subject to the terms and conditions of the FXF 100 Series Rules Tariff.
